Third prize for the public competition for the construction of 92 public housing units in Domeny, Girona, together with studio Enric Rojo.
Located in the new suburb of Girona, Baix Domeny, the proposal includes innovative environmental criteria, and adds value to the planned green corridors that connect the suburb to the Domeny park and the Ter riverside.

The plot, situated in a corner between two streets, offers the opportunity to work on the connection to the green corridors.
To optimize oritentation and ventilation of all units, the buiding is divided in two blocks, and a new central space is created between them. This space is planned as a prolongation of the public spaces, but also works as main entrance for the new neighbours, and creates a sense of community without compromising individual privacy.
On the other hand, the proposal rotates both ends of the blocks, responding to the urban design of the corner plot, thus becoming a continuous facade along both streets.
