A bit of history

Bouman is an architecture studio founded by Victor Bouman, based  in Girona and Llançà (Costa Brava).

Victor Bouman is an architect graduated from ETSAB –Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona- in 2016.

In 2015 I move to London to work on large housing estates with PTEarchitects, while simultaneously finishing my studies. On 2016 I return home, and collaborate whith various architecture studios in Terrassa, mainly with rga arquitectes, where I develop projects utilising timber solutions. On 2020 I found Bouman Arquitectura.

Studio

How we work

Our architecture treats  projects in a simple, efficient and honest way. The studios working approach is tightly linked to territory and nature. Consequently, in our projects it is landscape, tradition and the environment who often influence and define our architecture, and not the other way around.

Aware of the finite nature of our environment, we seek to work with local, natural and sustainable materials, and include in all our projects measures of sustainability and energy efficiency, and reduce emissions to our atmosphere.
